Please read to the bottom...
Who I am. Why I wrote this.
Be it known by all that visit this site. I am not, nor do I claim to be a medical professional. The material I write on these pages are from my own personal experiences and views; if you do not share them; that is fine. I respect your views, I may not believe them, but I ask you to respect mine as well and you can always e-mail me to let me know what you think about my views (in a respectful way)

I am not a role-model. I am not here to tell you what to do, or to tell you how to live. If you read something that makes sense to you and it applies to your life, fine. I am glad I could have a positive influence on you. I'm not here to change the world, as that is impossible- but just to help teens in
need of hope and information, find some. I was there once and I know what it was like. I find it very distressing that I have to write a disclaimer for trying to provide a source of information and hope for girls suffering through hard issues out there but whatever needs to be done I am willing to do...
It was suggested that I write this disclaimer because of the controversial material that is displayed on the pages. Like I said, I really wish that I didn't have to write this, but sometimes people like to misconstrue things that they don't understand and I'm afraid that is what will happen with the material on these pages. I don't want to be sued from a mother in denial after finding out her child has an eating disorder and attributing that to her daughter viewing my pages. Or a woman shocked by the offensive act of cutting. ----It's reality----

I generally don't mind if people get offended by these issues. Sometimes I even like it when people get offended. It means they've been forced to accept, however briefly, that the world is not the way they've always thought it's been, which can lead to all sorts of interesting effects, from enlightenment to skepticism. These pages are intend for those suffering through these issues and those near to them to provide informative facts. If you are do not fit into that category and you find any of the text offensive, please feel free to leave at your own convenience. There was nothing forcing you to come here and there is nothing forcing you to stay!
