Book Info Ever wanted to get published? Do you write poetry or short stories about the situations that I cover in my website? Well then your work could be published in the book I'm in the process of working on right now!!!

Silent Secrets Silent Secrets will be a combination of short stories and poetry that teenage girls have sent me about their battles with the issues covered in this website. It will also include the story of my journey through these hard times. I also asked my foster mother to write a chapter about what it is like to know and love someone who suffers from any of these things.
	Why I'm writing it... After reading Ophelia Speaks a thought occured to me. There should be a lot more books out there like that for teens in crisis to get there hands on to realize that they are not alone and be able to share some of their own experience with the girls in the books. I decided that I wanted to do the same idea as Sara Shandler, author of Ophelia Speaks, did but instead of covering all the topics she did, I am going to refine my my book to the struggles that I have faced through the last few years. Poems and short stories about eating disorders, depression, self-harm and suicidal attempts by other teenage girls going through it will be included as well as my story and some poems of my own.

	See yourself in print: Unfortunatly I have already filled my first book with everything I could. I am sure I will come out with more books though so if you would like to contribute please feel free to email me with your submission. WHY CONTRIBUTE? Do you remember the relief at finding out that you were not alone? Do you remember when you read the first poem or story about someone else suffering through the same things you were and saying "wow, that is what I am going through"? I do, which is the main reason I formed this website and why I am writing this book. Please help others know that they are not alone either. Along with the pleasure of helping others you will get to see your writing published in a real book. How exciting is that!!?!? CONTRIBUTE WHAT???
